I read a posting online about a lady that had a bad experience when first getting dentures. Thankfully it had a good ending grownups.co.nz/read/health/dental/denture-horror-story-with-a-happy-ending What this story highlights however is why you should always be aware of what to look for when searching for someone to make your new dentures.
A Clinical Dental Technician, known as a CDT is a registered Dental Care Professional. They are trained and fully qualified to offer a range of denture services direct to patients. They must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) to be able to work in the UK. Patients can be reassured by this that they are meeting the standards that the GDC set. You should always meet with the CDT and discuss in detail what you are looking for. Ask as many questions as you want and don't be afraid to outline any worries or concerns you may have.
Every person's mouth is different so no two sets of dentures are ever the same. At The Smile Centre UK each tooth in your set of hand crafted dentures is positioned by hand. The latest technology is used to register the correct bite. We also ensure the wearer has the correct lip and facial support.
From the start I am personally involved in the making of your dentures and will consult with you throughout to ensure the end result gives you dentures you won't stop smiling about.
I offer a free initial consultation so why not give me a call on 0844 3098 994 Or visit The Smile Centre for more information.
