Most people will have insurance for their home, their car, their jewellery, even their pets, but I speak to many patients that do not have insurance for their dentures. This surprises me, as accidents do happen, and as this story shows, dentures can get lost, even in hospital!

If you drop them in the basin they could crack, which is why I always advise when cleaning dentures you place a flannel or hand towel in the basin.
