Dental Veneers
Dental veneers are wafer thin tooth-coloured laminates that are "cemented" to the front of teeth in order to improve the appearance of teeth. Dental veneers work much the same as false nails do, except that they are wafer thin and last a lot longer than a false nail does.
Veneers can be made of porcelain, ceramic or composite bonding material and are very versatile as they can be used for many tooth problems:
- If you have stained teeth that tooth whitening isn’t having any effect on then veneers are a good choice.
- Uneven gaps in the teeth are a common problem for many. Veneers can sort this out by closing the uneven gaps between your teeth.
- Teeth that have been chipped, or damaged in some way can be repaired with veneers.
