How long does the procedure take?
Between 30 and 60 minutes
Does the treatment hurt?
A local anaesthetic is used to ensure treatment is pain free
What will I look like immediately after the treatment?
There will be some redness and swelling, occasionally some bruising. This usually settles down in a few days
Is there anything I should avoid doing after my treatment?
You should avoid alcohol for 24 hours and stay out of the sun for 2 or 3 days. We would also advise against wearing make up for 24 hours
How long with the results last for?
Usually about 6 months but everyone is different and it really depends on your facial activity and type of skin. Repeat treatments tend to last longer
How often should I have a top up?
About every 6 months or when you feel it is wearing off
Is it suitable for anyone?
Not for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. A review of your medical history will be taken before any treatment can be given
