Before having implant dentures Bev was unable to eat or talk properly due to her loose ill-fitting dentures. Bev explains how having implant retained dentures fitted from The Smile Centre UK has dramatically improved her standard of living.

"The main problem I encountered before I had implants fitted was I couldn't wear the false teeth that I was getting as they were just coming out all of the time. Every time you ate something, you were practically eating the teeth. If you talked, they came out. And I just couldn't wear them, so I thought I'll just not have any at all. Then the problems were I couldn't eat properly - I couldn't eat apples, I couldn't eat carrots, I couldn't eat any of my food properly. So I was swallowing my food whole, basically. That in turn caused digestive problems, which caused irritable bowel syndrome, so I was having a lot of problems that way. Even though you just think they're a set of teeth, they do a lot more than just make you have a nice smile. It's eating, it's confidence, it's everything."

You're waiting for them to come out all the time, because that's what normal dentures do when you haven't got the implants in."
