"Having these implants and having these dentures has absolutely changed my life 100%. I'm 47 - this isn't just for old people. As I've said 100 times, you don't have to do that."
"It's cheap enough to come to the Smile Centre to have your implants done, have a decent set of teeth to be proud about, give you confidence and change your eating habits."

The cost of dental implants is affected by a number of factors, however in the vast majority of situations dental implants offer a far more reliable, durable and aesthetically pleasing alternative to traditional dentures, and are therefore worth the price.
The clinical dental technician at the Smile Centre UK will consider the following when calculating the cost of your dental implants:
- The quality of your jaw bone;
- The amount of suitable bone into which the implants can be inserted;
- The health of any existing teeth;
- Any other existing medical conditions which may affect the dental implants;
By assessing your existing oral health, the Smile Centre UK will be able to determine exactly how many dental implants and accompanying dentures you will require.
Dental Implants: Breakdown of Costs
The number, and therefore the cost of dental implants, depends on how many are needed to successfully hold the dentures securely in place. The Smile Centre UK can craft anything from partial dentures to full denture sets. The costs are as follows:
Individual dental implants cost approximately £500 each.
Processing lab charges £250 per dental implant, therefore a set of 4 implants costs approximately £3,000.
Normally between 2 and four dental implants are required per arch to support the hand crafted dentures.
What's the cost of full or part denture implants?
So, if 4 dental implants are required to support a full lower denture, the cost would be approximately £5,000. If only 2 dental implants are required, the cost would be £3,500. Both these prices include the cost of the fully characterised denture. In addition dentures are reinforced with metal as patients can bite up to 10 times harder with implant dentures than normal dentures.
While costs are considerably more than traditional dentures implant dentures will be much more stable. Upper dentures will be much more secure and you will find it easier to speak. You won't have to worry about your dentures becoming loose or falling out of your mouth. Generally you will be able to eat many of the foods that you could not eat before.
However, The Smile Centre UK would not recommend that you chew very hard or sticky foods because they can damage the denture.
