Types of Dentures
The Smile Centre manufactures many different types of dentures (false teeth) including:
Upper and Lower Dentures – The Smile Centre manufactures and fits both upper and lower false teeth as well as new complete dentures
Denture Implants - an increasingly popular option for replacing your missing teeth rather than having conventional bridges or partial dentures.
Other types of dentures at the Smile Centre include:
Immediate - placed in your mouth at the time of extraction and may require supplementary adjustments after the healing process has completed
Flexible - adapt around the shape of the teeth and gums upon insertion and removal and can be used when it is difficult or impossible to insert a plastic or light alloy denture.
Partial - used to fill in the gaps left by missing teeth.
Please note The Smile Centre makes full and partial dentures (partial dentures by prescription and will receive full oral examination) directly to the patient.
